I always wondered who got polled and now I know. Me. I just got off the phone with someone who polled me on who I was likely to vote for. They wanted to know my opinion, from “Very Favorable” to “Very Unfavorable”, of John McCain. That was easy. It is one week to the election so here is the official Popwars endorsement.
Chances are you were polled on your home phone. People don’t realize how far Obama is REALLY ahead because of a simple fact: young voters (predominantly voting for Obama) often don’t have “land” phones. They use CELL phones which are rarely included by pollsters.
BTW- Paul: glad you’re voting for Obama. In 1968 when I ran for Student Council President as the ‘anti-establishment’ candidate, I seem to remember you voted for Ted McKibbon, the facist pig-tool-for-the-administration choice. So did Jeff Munson, Tim Schapp, and John Gilmore. Fortunately, I don’t carry grudges. But I think it an otta sight thing that you now embrace the concept of ‘change’.
