For an art student? What would the lesson be?
Andrea has part of the answer, the directness of the limited palette. On the surface the lesson would address a big question. Why paint? The job would pay by the hour ensuring that boredom would set in. The wandering eye in an outdoor setting, where all forms originate, would lead to a resolution.
