Name changed from Lawler to Tierney by his mother Mary Winifred Tierney. he studied and became a Catholic Priest in in the Rochester Diocese but was sent to the Syracuse NY Diocese to practice, because his mother was a divorced woman.......so says Suzanne Tierney.
