George was a Captin in the Civil War of the United States.
I found a George Chandler with a home @ 18 Pearl St in the 1860 Worcester Almanac
but I found this George to be a Doctor of Medicine...the 1866 lists...Chandler George, M.D. home 18 Pearl Street.....so this is not our George.
also listed was the Following:
Chandler Benjamin, h 10 Fruit St
Chandler John, Machinist, 12 Millbury St.......this is our people...I think
Chandler Nathaniel, Fuller, h 12 Millbury St........this is our people...I think
A “Fuller“ is “ A Cloth Worker who Shrinks, Beats & Presses Cloth”
