Union Army, Volunteer 14th New York State Artillery
Ray Tierney in his notes said “ James son Martin served in Civil War”

Companies A, B, C, D, E, & F were ordered to duty in New York harbor till April 1864
Served in 3rd Brigade, 1st Division, 9th Corps, Army of the Potomac. from June 11, 1864
Mustered out of service Aug. 26, 1865 @ Washington DC
14th Regiment in 15 engagements of War,including the following, Wilderness, Va. May 5-7, 1864 where his Father also fought.
I have yet to find his name associated with any particular Company .....wher to look?
